HEALING THE KNEE WITH GNM
A case from personal practice.
A 55-year-old right-handed woman came for a consultation complaining of knee pain. The pain appeared after a short jog because she was afraid of being late for a doctor's appointment. During the consultation, it was discovered that several years ago she had been injured while downhill skiing, had undergone surgery, and had two titanium pins inserted into her knee. When the pain appeared after running, she went to the doctors, had an X-ray taken at the hospital, discovered a cyst in her knee joint, and was prescribed injections. Fortunately, the woman was familiar with GNM, decided to wait with the injections, and came to me for a consultation.

I had two options: either this was the result of mechanical impact on the operated knee, which damaged the artificial changes made to the joint, or it was the result of a resolved Self-Devaluation Conflict . The first option was beyond my competence, so we tried to work on the second one.

During the consultation, it turned out that a few weeks before the incident, the patient had bought a tourist trip to Altai. Later, she learned that it was a 10-day tour, during which she would have to make long daily hikes with a tent, sleeping bag, and heavy backpack on her back. This information upset the patient, and she doubted whether she would be able to make such a trip with her operated knee. After several days of worrying, she could not decide what to do — give up the trip or go on the tour after all. The difficulty was compounded by the fact that she had non-refundable train tickets, and if she canceled the tour, she would lose her money. Obviously, this triggered a conflict of local self-deprecation, affecting her surgically repaired knee joint—I am not athletic enough to make such trips.

And when I spontaneously ran to the hospital, this conflict was apparently partially resolved—it turns out that I am still in good physical shape, I can run easily, and I have nothing to worry about. All this happened unconsciously, at the subconscious level, but the recovery process, accompanied by pain and swelling, which doctors identified as a cyst, began.

During the consultation, we analyzed this conflict in detail, found a pattern from childhood in regression that instilled insecurity in her own abilities, got rid of it, resolved the current conflict, and with a feeling of complete relief in the patient's soul, we completed the therapy.

Some time later, I contacted my patient and learned that three days after the consultation, the pain in her knee began to subside, and at the moment it has completely stopped, and she feels great.

This experience once again confirms the principles of 5BZ—all processes in our body have their biological meaning, and knee pain is usually associated with a conflict of self-depreciation, with “non-athletic” behavior. And although I called this post “healing according to GNM,” the recovery process is carried out by the body itself. It's just that people who are unfamiliar with GNM get stuck in their local Self-Devaluation Conflict for a long time in such situations, then start getting injections, and later it comes down to surgery.
